About Mark Woods

Mark Woods

My name is Mark Woods, and I’ve been playing golf for as long as I can remember. For me, golf is more than just a hobby – it’s a lifestyle.

I was lucky enough to be introduced to the golfing world as a child, as both my father and my grandfather were avid golfers. They taught me everything I need to know about the sport, including the endless amounts of words and phrases that are part of a golfer’s everyday vocabulary.

I have to admit, it could be a frustrating sport for a child. There were so many rules to learn and adhere to, and all I wanted to do was to see how far I could hit the ball.

However, now I’m at an age when I can fully understand the sport, the intricacies of golf are one of the most appealing parts of the game for me. I learned that patience, precision and practice are key to being a good golfer, and there’s so much more to the sport than getting the ball in the hole.

As I’ve grown older, I’ve seen the growth of the rangefinder, the improvement of golf clubs, the rise of hybrids, and the creation of the swing analyzer. Old school golfers like myself may not fully understand these gadgets – and that’s what I’m here for.

Before I buy any new golf gadgets or equipment, I always check out the reviews. I noticed for a lot of products, there weren’t many in-depth reviews, and I wanted to change that.

Last year, I finally took the plunge and created Hack Golf. This site is the perfect opportunity to do what I love while sharing information and opinions with fellow golf enthusiasts.

I hope to help golfers of all skill levels find the best products for them, as there are so many products out there for golfers, and it can be tough finding which ones are actually worth buying.

There will also be guides covering things such as “Putting Tips” and “Golf Terms” – providing you honest and helpful information that you could learn a lot from or just enjoy reading.

At Hack Golf, we’re here for you – so if you have any stories, suggestions or questions you want to share with us, don’t hesitate to drop us an email at [email protected].
