Bushnell Pro X2 Golf Laser Rangefinder Product Review

Bushnell has been providing golfers with top-quality equipment and apparel since the late 1940s, and have certainly hit the mark with the Bushnell Pro X2 Golf Laser Rangefinder.

Technology

One of the key features of the X2 Laser Rangefinder is the innovative slope-switch technology. This feature will allow you to easily change between normal and slope-adjusted distances.

All you need to do is move the switch on the side – it’s shaped as the Pro X2 logo. This will let you conveniently utilize slope to get compensated distances around the course whenever you need it.

Please bear in mind that the switch can be easily switched, so be careful when your hands are around that area!

This rangefinder also allows you to change the display settings. You can choose between a bright red, high-contrast display (which is perfect for dull, cloudy weather), and a darker, black display (best used in bright days).

The use of JOLT technology also helps make this one of the best rangefinders you can buy. This feature provides quick vibrating bursts, that signal that the target has been isolated by the PinSeeker technology.

It can be a struggle not knowing if you’ve locked onto the flag or not, but the JOLT technology is sure to give you the reassurance you need to get the shot you need.

It’s a surprisingly accurate rangefinder, precise to within one yard from up to one thousand yards away. Not only is it accurate, but it gives you the information you need in seconds.

Readings can be provided anything up to 18 inches from 125 yards away at a whopping five times the speed of a standard rangefinder.

Design

This rangefinder is designed to be 100% waterproof (IPX7), which means it can be used in any weather conditions, any season, any location. Most rangefinders are only water-resistant, but this one can even be submerged in water (we wouldn’t recommend it though!).

It’s a compact, lightweight rangefinder, and can easily fit in the pocket of your golf bag. The overall shipping weight is 1.3 pounds, so it’s the perfect weight to carry around the course with you. The rubber over metal casing makes the rangefinder feel soft and comfortable in your hands, and it appears to be anti-slip, meaning you get a great grip of it for minimal droppages.

Unfortunately, there are no mounting options, so you must hold it in your hands to use it. In the cold, or if you have unsteady hands, you may find it slightly more difficult to use.

The Pro X2 is super easy to use, whether you’re a beginner to golf or a professional. I’d recommend unboxing it first and having a trial-run before you get on the course, just to save a couple of minutes set up time.

Summary

Knowing your yardages can be the difference between a bogey and a birdie. Bushnell has got your back with the rangefinder, which provides accurate measurements that are sure to help knock points off your overall score.

95% of PGA tour players and professionals are known to use Bushnell rangefinders, and 95% can’t be wrong! It’s a super popular rangefinder, and now you know why it’s so great.

The combination of design, accuracy, and state-of-the-art technology make the Pro X2 Golf Laser Rangefinder one of the best golf gadgets you can get in 2020.
